These dates are the minimum waiting periods as per NBTC and CDSCO guidelines for Indian blood donors. Your actual eligibility on the day of donation is determined by a qualified medical officer at the blood bank through a health screening. Factors such as haemoglobin levels (minimum 12.5 g/dL), body weight (minimum 45 kg), blood pressure, recent illness, vaccination, medication, or travel history may result in a temporary deferral even if the waiting period has passed.
